Sander Willems


Sander is a versatile leader with many talents. He combines a strong drive to achieve lasting results with a pleasant and open way in engaging with others. He is an articulate and strategic manager, able to provide vision and motivate a multi-function team in a highly participative and engaging style. He has built his international track record in both leading large transformation programs as organizations in Supply Chain Management/IT, Sales Operations and Procurement.

In his 20+ years of experience, Sander has worked for international corporations operating worldwide in the Medical Device industry, Automotive industry and Semiconductor industry.

At this moment he is leading an IT/Supply Chain Program for the Philips Respironics business,  based in the United States, ensuring compliance to the new EU Medical Device Regulations and being ready for BREXIT.

From 2017 till 2020 he has been working as a Purchasing Director for Punch Powertrain, a fast-changing independent automotive powertrain manufacturer in Belgium, where he led and built a BOM procurement organization supporting the companies’ vision and led different NPI projects for Purchasing.

During his period with Philips Healthcare he has led and implemented a Sales Operations Shared Service Centre supporting the European Sales Markets. Besides this he has successfully led a global implementation program providing Sales financial transparency and configuration management support during the quotation process.

In 1997 he started his professional career with NXP Semiconductors where he has held different international leadership positions in Supply Chain Management, IT, Customer Service and Logistics Operations realizing on time delivery improvements, lead-time & cost reductions, centralizing customer service & warehousing activities and organizational development. The last 4 years at NXP, Sander has worked as program director in realizing recurring annual purchasing savings and a global re-organization in Purchasing.

Three years ago he decided to start up his own interim-management firm where he offers his talents and experience to companies for interim management in Supply Chain Management/IT, Operations and Procurement and help companies improving their businesses through transformations.
