Peter is a result driven executive with extensive international experience. Manager of logistics operations and procurement processes. Creative thinker, excellent track record in managing multi-million dollar savings projects, managed start-up operations and IT implementations. Team builder and motivator. Experienced negotiator and relationship builder creating the maximum result for the company. Hands-on style with eye for details.
In his 20+ years of experience, Peter has managed projects as well as logistics operations departments in international corporations, in Europe, North America and Asia. Throughout his career he has built a track record in a 3PL environment, electornics, FMCG and e-commerce.
He has started his career at Raben Logistics where he was responsible for the expansion of the network and the project manager for the implementation of Szybka Paczka (now GLS Poland). After that he moved to Philips where he managed the procurement activities for transport for all CEE factories, later he became global procurement manager for 3PL activities.
At Reckitt Benckiser he was responsible for transportation procurement and operations for all European factories, later he moved to the USA where he managed the North American logistics operations.
He then moved back to Europe to work for Amazon where he designed an implemented the dedicated fleet operations with the famous blue Amazon trailers, after which he became responsible for all planning and operations for middle mile transport in Europe, managing a team of over 500 people.
Recently he decided to start using this extensive knowledge to start up his own boutique consultancy firm where he is offering companies to improve logistics processes, choose and implement logistics IT solutions, support tender processes and do benchmark exercises.
